Define Characteristics
OBJECTIVE
The Define Characteristics function is used to create a database of characteristics to fully describe items.

The database of characteristics can be accessed by entering a catalogue order. Using characteristics is helpful to avoid creating multiple identical inventory items (for example, yellow, red and green pencils). You only need to enter a single inventory code if you use characteristics. |

Create a characteristic
- Enter the required information:
The Configuration icon is used to define entry options for the Code field.
Fields followed by the * character are mandatory fields.

Code that identifies the characteristic.
Description
Description of the characteristic.
